Abstraction

Artworks included in this exhibition interpret or express the theme of abstraction.  Abstract art uses a visual language of shape, form, colour and line to create a composition, which may exist with a degree of independence from visual reference in the world.  Abstraction is an umbrella term for any works that do not portray recognizable objects or scenes.

All of the artworks were created in 2017, and were exhibited in 2018 and 2019.
